Since uploading a new list of usernames and passwords, WAM no longer works when using the Firefox browser.
When clicking the link to the protected page, the user gets straight into the page, not at all what is required.
It works perfectly when using Internet Explorer,
Any suggestions as to what might be the problem?

htaccess is not browser dependent, it will work in any browser. What you are probably seeing in FireFox is a cached version of the page.
