My website has been approved through Website Access manager and is .htaccess compatible/Apache compatible. I'm using JustHost.com servers. I'm trying to restrict access to one sub folder of my webstie, but when I try to upload to server, Access Manager gets stuck on "uploading password file".

Any ideas ?:o

Thanks Eric,
Now I'm really in a fix. It seemed, that Access manager, due to circumstances unknown to me, decided to upload once. Now when I try to access the PW protected portion of the website, it gives me a prompt, generated by the server (not CC) to enter Username and PW. Problem is, that none of the the Usernames or PW from CC Access Manager seem to gain me access.

My file structure is like this:
/home2/ directory (this shows both a .htaccess and .htpasswd, but no users need it for this level)
/public_html/ directory (this also shows both a .htaccess and .htpasswd, but not users need it)
/members_only/ (this shows a .htaccess only)

None of the .htaccess or .htpasswd files show up in my files directory on cpanel. Is there a way I can "undo" Access manager on my site, because I can't even gain access to it now.

My second question is, it seems that CC Access Manager seems to add the parent directories to "show protection status" if I simply click on that directory, even though there are no usernames or passwords required for the parent directories. The only directory I'm trying to protect is "members_only". Should I delete these directories in the "show protection status" window?

Nevermind, I got those questions answered. I needed to show all hidden files and deleted all .htaccess and .htpasswd files. That fixed my access problems.
