ACCESS MANAGER DATABASE - Post ID 172401
How can I transfer the database to a client so they can use it on their CC access manager software

Send the user the same HDB file you've been using to create the database. They can open it in their copy of Website Access Manager to continue making changes or upload it to the server.
Thank you
Where can I find the HDB file?
If you are using Windows XP, look at:
C:\Program Files\CoffeeCup Software\CoffeeCup Web Access Manager\Databases
C:\Program Files\CoffeeCup Software\CoffeeCup Web Access Manager\Databases
Thank you
I committed the cardinal sin . . . didn't back up my database!
Now that my desktop has been returned from the manufacturer (with a new/different boot drive) I'm "in the weeds."
Is there any way to recover what I need from the website that I have WAM working on to re-build the database?
Thanks.

Sorry David, but no. Website Access Manager can only work with the hdb file. There is no way to import any information back into it if you lost it.

That's kind of what I figured but thought I'd ask--not the end of the world though.
Thank you for the super-quick response . . . awesome!

Scott- I wondering how I'd managed to miss backing the database up . . . something I am usually pretty good at. In double checking the contents of my LTO-3 media I found that, at least in my implementation (Windows7 64), the database files are not in the Program Files folder but rather they are in: C:\Users\David Regenthal\AppData\Roaming\CoffeeCup Software\CoffeeCup Website Access Manager\Databases.
So, I just restored that folder to the drive, restarted WAM, and was able to import the database without issue. I'm back in business. Thought I'd pass this along . . .
Best.
