Hi Gabriel, here's what you do. In your FTP settings put in the username and password for your server. Your FTP server is just the basic .com, or in your case imesex.edu.mx That's it, nothing else. No http or anything. Select Standard FTP, port 21 and enable passive mode. These are the standard settings for most servers. Some may require a bit of fiddling but hopefully not yours. Under 'Choose Your Home Directory' select the main directory that contains your website HTML files. Usually this is the root and a simple '/' is all you need. If that does not work, click the 'advanced' button and choose 'Auto-detect'.

Once you get the settings right the main screen should show all the different directories on your server on the left hand side of the screen. On the right will be a list of users (if you have added any yet) that you want to allow access to certain areas. Add some users if you haven't yet.

Then all you do is put a check in a directory or by a file that you want to protect, (in your case /preguntas/ask), then put a check by the user you want to grant access to. Viola! Then click the 'Upload to Server' button and the needed files will be uploaded to your server.

One other quick note...some servers do not allow a user to upload an .htaccess file because of security concerns. So if it absolutely won't work, you might check with your server just to make sure it is allowed.

Hope this helps. Check back here if you need more.
