The form wouldn't accept numbers that I put in, and from an earlier post by Wayan it seems he met a similar problem. I therefore had to put in the number you suggested to Wayan, and then the form would submit. You might therefore wish to try just removing the phone number item just to see whether that is causing a problem.
Otherwise you might wish to delete the form from the page and rebuild it as quickly and simply as possible, forgetting about design matters. In case the Thankyou page is itself slowing things up, you could make that page as simple as possible (perhaps just a heading and a few lines of text), and ensure that access to that page is quick and not in some remote directory.
If you decide to try the above, and it fails to help identify the cause of the delay, I'm afraid I'm out of ideas.

I tried submitting the test form with my valid Norwegian phone number. It wasn't accepted. The testing of phone numbers has to do with phone numbers having to match a certain format, number of digits, dashes or other symbols used to separate chunks of the number. If the numbers don't match, the form doesn't get sent.
In my country, we have 8-digit phone numbers, written either xxxxxxxx or in case of mobile numbers xxx xx xxx. I tried both, but they didn't work.
Maybe it will work faster if you don't use any special format.

Hi Inger,
Appreciate your take also. In Canada (as in the US) we use a +1 along with a 10 digit phone number system. The form seems to work with any random amount of 10 digit sequences.
With that said I am going to remove the phone number from the form and test. I will be back with an update after testing.

I have now removed all design from the form. Also removed the phone number field.
The page is now optimized for speed with all css and js off of the main html page.
The Thank-You page is down to its bare bones in content. Removed the countdown timer.
I've times the results publishing in 9.47 seconds as the fastest test (in Firefox).
I'm not certain what else to attempt.
In WFB Settings > Confirm Page one could use a Confirmation message rather than a redirect. After all, the customer is going to get an email pretty quickly with a more elaborate Thankyou message.

If you want to try another form, I have a basic form in my component library, see the address in my signature. I'm not sure which framework version I'd suggest for you, since the sites you build don't seem to be made with a CoffeeCup program. Maybe the Barebone version, or if not, the HTML version would be the best. Just look for what is called 'Basic form'. You don't need to include the image, if you think that will slow things down.
Ha en riktig god dag!

I would ask your host why its so slow.
It took about 9 Secs for me.

Hi Eric & All,
Happily, I can say that I redid the form from scratch and it was sending instantly. The delay was down to less than 1 second.
As I slowly add some features back it grows in length of delivery. It's now back up to about 9 seconds and I'm more than happy with that - considering previous delays.
The main item, the confirmation email to the user who filled out the form. Regardless of how large or small this form is - it seems to be dragging the process in length.
With the current form I will rebuilt it from scratch again once all is finalized.
I truly thank all of you for your help and assistance with this process, including all of the advice. I will say that I have not yet approached the host (GoDaddy) as the issue seemed to come from the form or the form process.
Any questions and I'd be happy to answer from all of the testing and experiences we all went through in this specific case. Off to update the other dozen forms I need to update with this new knowledge.
Best regards,
Adriana
