Weird Unintentional Hint Message

Is anyone getting any weird hint messages that you did not configure in your forms?

Take a look at my screen shot and under EMAIL ADDRESS - you will see an "E" - I did not put that in there but it is showing up on my form.

Just wondering if anyone else is running into that issue.

I have seen that issue appear very randomly but could never figure out why. Try deleting that email address element from your form and re-add it back. It should clear that out.

I get that, too. Not on the email but under the phone number field. When you click to start typing, a '5' appears under the box. I checked in FB to make sure there's nothing in the friendly hint box.

This is what shows up in Firebug (sorry it's a bit small):

It has to be created, It cannot just happen. Trouble is it is difficult to track that down it will be in the code, Verification possibly. right under ones nose. That is the type of bug I create which frustrates the hell out of me. Often when I use echos in conditional statements when designing the script then forget about them.

Hiya Prism,

Firebug is an Addon for FireFox browser that allows you to edit and inspect code elements to see what they would look like with certain changes etc. (doesn't really change it on the server, just on your browser temporarily). Quite a cool little addon in you use Firefox browser and very helpful when combined with the Web Developer addon.

Anyone who has this, can you email me the .fb file please? I can get our developers to look at that and figure out how to fix it.

I seem to remember someone else having this issue earlier, maybe within the last month(?). Not sure what ever became of it. I'll see if I can find the thread that that message was in...

Edit:
Ok... Found it - http://www.coffeecup.com/forums/web-for … post174281

I followed the link that Jorge provided and see that his "v" is still showing... Maybe he could be contacted to send the file in? I had thought that he was going to manually edit the file just to work around it, may be a good thing he didn't ;)
