Hi. Can somebody give me some help with the old WebForm Builder V 8.3, Build 206? If so, here is my issue. After having not used it for about 6 months, I opened the program and tried to use it last night, and when I opened the form I wanted to edit, every time I clicked on an element (a text box, a button, a check box), the element would jump randomly a bit to the left, right, up, or down. Each one I clicked jumped in a different direction, seemingly randomly. The same jumping occurred when I used one of the preloaded forms. It had never done this before. Has anybody ever experienced this with the old WebForm Builder?

Thanks.

I've never seen such behaviour with that old form builder. I don't have it installed, as I'm not using it any more, but if you just open the form and click Save before you do any clicking around, does that help?

Or try creating a new form, just as an experiment, save it and close the prog. Reopen the prog and the new form, do the elements jump around in that one too? If they do, I advise you to open a support ticket to CC and let them help you sorting it.

Before you do anything at all, make sure you have the latest version of the old form builder.

Another thing: I would strongly advise you to change to the new form builder. CC created it because of the numerous mobile devices that are being used now. Those devices don't support flash, so mobile users will just see an empty space where your form is supposed to be.
Ha en riktig god dag!

Yeah, at a minimum, I think I can use the new Form Builder Lite for my purposes. I think that's my better choice. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question though.

Yeah the new one is much more powerful, just be advised it's not fully a visual system of dragging things around where you want them, but it's still an easy piece of software to use if you take your time to learn it.

Don't bother asking for assistance from CC on this as this version you are using is not supported anymore, it's been discontinued in favor of the new one so you'll most likely be on your own there.

I would suggest the same as Inger. Install the new one (you don't have to uninstall the old one so you can still work with that one if you need to.) and take it for a trial spin. Keep in mind that the Lite version will not allow you to export your form for use on your own server, you can only use it via S-Drive.

Good luck on the forms :)
