Hey Guys and Gals,

This may sound like a stupid question but is there a way to format a field to display as currency. What I mean by that is if someone puts in 100 it will display it as $100.

Thanks in advance for the help.

How about if people types 100 and it comes out as 100 NOK, Or €, £ or any other currencies?

Not really what i was thinking of in the form have it convert it... auto correct it if you will. Kind of like formatting the cell of an excel spreadsheet to currency.

If it matters that it formats it as currency then ignore this, but why not just put the $ sign in the text of the field itself? such as:

Please enter your donation amount $ [________________]

That way it will show up both for the form and in the email as well. Simple setup I know, but since I'm not sure what you're wanting to "format" it for that's what I would do. :)

Thanks for the replies guys,

Here is the form I am working on
http://misterwebguy.com/LaJollaCapital/quotes.html

Ok so the client wants it so it will format if a client enters 345000 into the Loan Amount or Estimated Value that shows up like $345,000.00

This may help you out. You or Eric may have to work on this but I would think you could enter it into an HTML box on the form. Not that sure about the coding ...you know me :P

I put the instructions on there. Jquery plugins are awesome and make this way to easy.
