Tutorial? - Post ID 216081
I am creating a form for users to pay their bills online. I have created an account with Authorize.net, and have information needed, and have created the form, but I don't "get" how to test it and get it all going. Does anyone know of a tutorial somewhere that could help? I did look on YouTube, but didn't find anything useful.

If you use PayPal you can set up a 'sandbox' account and test your form. I'm not familiar with Authorize.net so can't help you there. Simple test would be to set it up for a $1 payment and run it through. If it works, then change the amount to whatever it needs to be. Or just run it through to the point where you would make a payment, then stop.
As for a tutorial, did you go through the 'Help' PDF that comes with WFB? Just click that Help button at the top.

Here's a little about Paypal.
I was going to do this a while back but Paypal was starting to change their Sandbox setup. I'm currently using the Sandbox to test my own ipn from some Paypal subscription buttons.
It's not to bad to use.
1. Go to https://developer.paypal.com/webapps/developer/ and setup an account.
2. After you create your account go here and add a personal account and a business account. https://developer.paypal.com/webapps/de … s/accounts
3. Now you should be able to go here and get the token while your logged into the business Paypal account in the sandbox.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Eric, I think the original question was 'How to test with Authorize.net'. I'm not familiar with that and just mentioned PayPal sandbox. Do you know an easy way to test Authorize.net payments, without actually making a payment?

Thanks for all the posts! After perusing numerous documents on Authorize.net however, I have come to the conclusion I am in over my head when it comes to setting up a payment page - all the different options... It's just too complicated for a little part time web person like me. I don't think this startup company has the resources to throw a lot of money at trying to get this up and running. Years ago I hired virtualworker.com (back then its was rentacoder.com) to do some work I was too inexperienced for. Is there a person/company that does this for hire? Am I just out of luck?
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
