I cannot get either a Plain text or Title/ heading element to center correctly. They are too far to the right.

Try messing with the padding.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I have them at 100% and the padding is equal.

Sorry, I should have provided more details. 100%, Padding 0, centered, still is not centered. Just loaded the newest version of form builder

What is the size settings for your form? Do you have the design window enlarged all the way?

How do I attach? I get an error that it is the wrong file type

It is 350 wide. I do have the window full screen. I tried to play with the padding. If I do greater padding to the left, the text moves toward the right. If I do more right, the text doesn't move but the light gray box around the text enlarges to the right of the text.

350 wide probably the problem. You'll need to mess with the element % and the padding with the form width to get it centered.
