Scoring topics using WFB? - Post ID...

Hello there
I have people who need to choose their 10 favourite topics out of 20+ and they need to put them in order of preference.
Now I can easily set up a form to list all topics and let them assign a number (1 to 10) to each topic, but they can, of course, assign a first place (or 2nd, 3rd etc.) to more than one topic - which isn't allowed.

Currently the best I've come up with is having 10 drop-downs with topics listed, one for 1st choice, one for 2nd and so on.
This doesn't stop them choosing the same one twice, so using conditionals, I've got it to list the topics chosen with the choice number alongside - that way they can easily spot if one topic used twice and correct themselves.

Is there a better way of doing this? Not that my folk are devious or anything, and I can still spot duplicates afterwards, but would look better!

Many thanks
Steve

Maybe use check boxes and let them check their top ten then once they reach 10 hide the rest. and show input boxes to now rate them.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.
