Running Paypal total over 2 or more...

I am just in the process of planning a registration page for a sporting club. I would like one form (or a renamed version of it - used multiple times) that inserts the data into the same fields in the database. I have figured this out.
What I would also like to do have each of the forms with independent payment info, but have a total at check out. As an example; form 1 will get registrant 1's personal info and a dropdown list for coaching fees (ie. $100). The client may then checkout or register another family member with the same data (another $100). Then they check out and the paypal will have to total for both skaters.

My experimentation thus far leads me to think that after a form is filled in, the customer must check out and pay the balance on that form. I would like several forms with payments required with a single checkout after the last entry.

Sorry I cannot post a sample, I am still trying to see if this is possible. I hope my question makes sense.

Thanks so much,
ken

I have been waiting to see if there were any responses. As I see it you could have more than one payment element on the same form. All transactions would have to be made in the same process then I think the checkout would be totalled. I have not tried it but it may work. Once the form is submitted any transactions are finalised. I believe you could set up a few payment elements but as I said once submitted the checkout will only record those entries. This may be an option to look into.

Thanks Prism,
I figured this was likely the case but I wanted on person, ne form and a totalled checkout. I'll get to work on a multiple member registration page to get around my issue.

Thanks again,
Ken
