I'm sure this is something simple that I'm missing - I know how to set an element to be required, but where do I set up the indicator so the user knows it's required? Just looking at the source code and don't see any class applied on required fields - unless I just need more coffee...?
Take another sip. There is no way to 'indicate' that a field is required. However, if it is a text field you can use the placeholder to say 'Required'. Otherwise, put an * beside required fields, or mark it some other way. If a field is 'required' and the user tries to submit the form, it will then show up as 'Required'. Hopefully CoffeeCup will add this feature in an update. Soon.

What I tend to do if I feel the form needs the required fields to be marked is:
Text box that states that "An asterisk * denotes a required field"
Name (*)
Phone (*)
That tends to work fairly well. Would be nice if we could mark them in red, but marked at all is better than not

Found that you can also change the 'color' of the Required text. Look under the HINT at Hint Style and you can make the color anything you want. Wow, never even paid attention to this.

Oh so you actually "CAN" put a red asterisk there then, very slick Gunsmoke, nice find, I'll have to look at that in a bit too, thanks!

Well, an asterisk may look a little, um, off. It will be positioned 'under' the field. No way I know of to move that.

Thanks for the tips everyone, I tried them all and I like using (Required) as the placeholder text, it makes the form seem cleaner.
