It would be nice to provide the human proof upgrade with this particular software purchase. I'm not paying $129 to fix this.

Perhaps make your own version of human proof so you do not have to charge customers for this everytime google updates there human proof.

I must say this is quite annoying. So sorry I am asking for help with this simple form. Obviously this will not be a permanent fix since I do not want to be spammed, of course. Thought this software would help with that and make life simple.
Thank you

It must be working as you no longer get a recaptcha error. The new error is totally different. If you send me your form.cfg.php I can take a look at it. The write error for the csv might be able to be fixed by adding the file to the below directory.
contact/TA2-General-Contact/storage/csv/TA2Web-General-Contact1.csv

Yes the form is passing and being sent.. but it's not writing to the csv storage area. I know this form worked 4 years ago when I made it. I wouldn't of left it not working.

Thanks for taking a look.

Everything looks correct.
If you don't need the csv try changing this to false in the form.cfg.php.
"filename" : "TA2Web-General-Contact.csv",
"is_present" : true

if that's needed I guess I would start redoing the forms.

Really? After all this time now? .. It sure is convenient for you and your software company to see it that way but, everything is not fine, Eric!

Perhaps you should redo your software code to exclude using external tools such as google bot protection if you do not want to support its' upgrades in the future without having to charge your loyal customers twice, or three times! WOW!

Not to mention the time it took me to create and figure out the software to begin with 2+ years ago that is going without your consideration. Not easy to do if I want to use my own database instead of paying to use your database service for forms.

Didn't have a problem providing upgrades with the HTML Editor for a long time; after bug after bug and updates after updates. Taking up our time re-installing. To only get to the point that now we have to buy the next upgrade for support of google protection tool.

Why do you think me or anyone else would want to re-buy this software when the next time google changes something we get to get charged all over again? Support your customers!

Why would I want to go through all that of re-building 3 forms to use without any protection? The software was originally advertised as being able to use spam protection. And now you're telling me to use it without. Support your software!

I am only looking for a 'simple' manually done 'fix'. Here are the other two forms I need fixed that took me weeks to put together while figuring out your form building software using my own database. Sure; Lot's easier if you pay for your database service etc.

Do you have any idea how frustrating this is?

I understand you have to pay programmers to update your software for when google updates stuff.. But wow. You should give all customers that purchased webformbuilder in the past at least 80% discount on buying the new version - FOR LIFE! not just a month or 4.

Jason, Eric is by no means 'you and your software company'. He is, like all of us in this forum, a volunteer helper who is devoting a lot of his spare time to help people like you. Quite a lot actually, and even now at Christmas. And I think he has really gone above and beyond in your case. So please treat him with the respect and appreciation he deserves.

If you want to speak to the company staffers, please submit a support ticket.
Ha en riktig god dag!

I do not believe a support ticket would offer any different advise other than rebuild the form without protection with v2.5 or buy the new one at $129. And who really wants a form without protection when they purchased software with good money previously.

My gratitude to you senior advisors for the help. In my opinion a manual removal of recaptcha for FB v2.5 would be nice to see pinned in the software support area. Or, at the very least, have a patch made for FB v2.5 offering a way to include JUST the NEW version of google's human verification and nothing else.

And my apologies for any mis-directed disrespect towards any senior advisor in regards to the software's discrepancies.

Happy New Year!
Thank you

Jason,
If you keep eye on the emails that CC sent out in the past, they did offer the updated form builder at discount price. If my memory is right, I think it was around for 29 for the update. Google also sent out a email saying that they were dropping support for Verison 1.

This is just my two cents about things...
