I'm looking for the answer to your question and don't seem to find it. Is it a navigation error on my part???
Feeling really dumb these days.

You use the form builder variables within the notification and the confirmation like this.
If your input name is email1 then you would insert [email1] within your text.

I have a question about one of the fields in the settings area. When I selected an email template I edited the fields and replaced the 'field name for the sender's email address' and saved and uploaded to S-Drive.
Everything works on the form except the return address from the sender. The return address comes through but when I click on it and my email program opens the address is not populated in the 'To:' field. I just get : '[insert form builder variable] <>'.
It's been a while since I've built a form so I could be missing something. I did select the email address field from the drop down in edit mode which has always brought in the address.
I'm on Ver 2.5 Build 5437.
Any help would be great and there's absolutely no rush.

Are we talking the return address within the email body?

We're talking the To address when I click on the email address which is the form sender's email address. Maybe the reply to email address.
Let me do this; Someone sends the form. When the recipient gets the results at the bottom the sender's email address is a link with some text that says to contact them. I believe when we click on their email address it's supposed to open in our email program and have their address in the To filed. All I get is what I posted above.
I suppose I made that as clear as mud.

So the email address link were clicking on is within the body of the email you receive?

Eric,
The email address is at the bottom of the submitted form. I'll attach a picture of the link in the form and what I get when I click on it and it opens in my email client.

Eric,
I knew it was probably operator error. I missed one of the places I was supposed to insert the email field. I found it when I hovered over the sender's email address and the link showed the mailto: with the message after it about the variable.
It's been a while since I have used the software.
