Please help, rather urgent. On v.2.4 bld 5318.
Under "Settings" > "Email Notices" > "Auto-response message" > "To:" drop-down,
regardless of the email element included in the Auto-response "message" itself...
e.g. "[email]"... the drop-down will not populate... blank selection drop-down.
As an aside, regardless of my entries in the "Notification message" To and From
fields... similarly... the "Reply-To:" drop-down will not populate... blank selection drop-down.
I am on Win8.1 x64.
ALL other form functions work great... but the above big issues
need to be resolved before we can go live.
Thanks in advance... Jefferson

That is caused by not using an Email Address Element for the email address. I bet you are using a Text Field.

Nope...
Do you have the email element under a display rule?
It would help if you could attach your .fb file here so that we can take a look. (Zip it up before attaching.)

Display Rule...
If it is part of a display rule, you cannot use the Auto-Responder. You will need to make it always visible.

I am grateful Scott et al ... always showing the email element
HAS resolved the issue(s). Just a bummer the email address
field/element can not be hidden until a previous/initially displayed element's
condition is met.
This form was to be collapsed ... just showing
a company address to postal mail donations to.
It was to fully expand if an "Online Donation"
checkbox was selected... as displaying an
email field/entry alone... after the call to
just postal mail to the displayed address
will be confusing to users.
Thanks... Jefferson
