Redirect shows blank page with "0" -...

Hello,

Just downloaded your product. Have put my contact form together:

http://www.ptframing.com/Grill/contact.html

I cannot seem to change the color of the submit button from blue - I see where you can do that and I have changed it, but the color does not take...

When I click submit, I get the same page fed back with a 0 in it, and it does not seem to send the email.

No error messages...

Any help would be appreciated. :)

That is actually an image. You would need to delete the submit button image if you want to change the color. ;)

Hello Scott, thanks for your reply. Okay, well duh that makes sense! I just thought that since the functionality was there to change the color of the button that it would do it - did not even cross my mind that it was an image.

Any notion of why the redirect is not working, or the email being sent?

I think I have set everything up correctly. I am exporting and uploading per the directions to my site - checked and email is valid and the redirect page exists and the url in the tool is correct.

It looks like your server doesn't meet the minimum requirements. At first glance I would say you have PHP 4 installed but you need PHP 5.3.

Hmm....well the host is StartLogic, a fairly large hosting company. Is there something I can do if they are not running PHP 5.3? I hate to have bought this and not be able to use it.

If they cannot upgrade you to 5.3, you could publish your form then to S-Drive.

Hiya Michael,

Contact your hosting service and let them know you need PHP 5.3 installed to use software you have purchased. In most cases they will upgrade the PHP version for you, and if they can't they will let you know that too. If not then by all means use S-Drive for your form, but definitely talk to your hosting company first to get them to upgrade the PHP version first. If they don't, I would also suggest changing hosts as that's something that is necessary for lots of different things other than just the form builder forms.

Hey Scott and Jo Ann,

Thanks to both of you for the additional help. :) I got out to my v-deck on StartLogic and was able to upgrade my PHP to 5.3. Thanks for that suggestion, it was helpful!

So the form still isn't quite working. I get the following error when I click the submit button:

Warning: [ err 2/line 318/config.cls.php] session_start(): open(/var/php_sessions/sess_83f7210e69b038a77b6f62b0ef08b825, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2)

I am not sure if maybe the server needs time to copy 5.3 files out there, or if this is something else going on?

Your hosting provider also needs to enable PHP Sessions.

Look at the "Click here to check if this server supports sessions" and you will see that part fails.

Okay, so I called the host and they are saying that PHP sessions are enabled....I am wondering if because I am running this site in a subdirectory on my server (just in test right now) if somehow the path is not correct?

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
