Ilm in the UK and have used CC Web form builder for years in its previous form and now. It's great, it does the job for our riding club entry forms, but over the last year, I have had more and more problems with people not receiving a nofication email. This problem seems worse with AOL and hotmail addresses, but there are odd random ones in there as well. I have had lengthy discussions with my hosting provider regarding blacklisting, they swear they are on top of everything and there should not be a problem. However this is still happening. My main form is set up to go to the address of a club member who organises the entries, but she doesn't always receive them either. I have set up a domain based email address for her, still she doesn't receive all of them. I would say about 85% of them go through no problems. I understand completely that this is not a CC issue, but just wondered if anyone else had encountered any problems, and if so, what did you do?

Which host are you on? I'm seeing users where the subject words will block the email
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

The host is Hostexcellence - any help on this would be much appreciated, I'm getting complained at from all sides for something I don't know how to solve!

Recently there was someone who had a similar problem, and it turned out that his web host had a ban list of words and phrases that were frequently used by spammers and advertising mails. His subject contained one of those words, I think it was 'request'. You may need to ask your host about it.

But 90% of the forms go through no problem, so it can't be from the web host side?

Yes it could if their filtering based on content. The fact that it works sometimes usually means a host issue.

But all of the emails that the form sends are exactly the same, the only variable is the input of the details of the entry, i.e. name, email and contact phone?

So it could also be a client side issue. I have one form that I receive the results along with 2 others. The other two both use AOL and one receives the email every time but the other one gets blocked once and a while. It's a client side issue for me as I've caught them in their spam box after they put it there by accident. I've noticed that email has gotten a little tougher on spam as I think they're trying to protect the people that will click links if their promised a fortune from some prince.

I think it is - that can be the only reason for it, hence my wanting to know if anyone else has experienced this.

I am having this same issue - and can't find a solution. This is happening to me when the "to" address is the same as the domain. (Which is always because the client wants to receive their form notifications). I BCC myself and always get the notification emails. Since my clients don't get a ton of submissions, I'm been manually forwarding each response. But there has to be a better solution. I'm having this problem with different hosting providers, and different email providers. Doesn't seem to matter. The solution may be to signup and pay for the s-drive so that the form processing doesn't go through my clients' websites at all, but I'm not crazy about that option because it means the form won't work if the client decides to take the business from me, and it's tied to my s-drive account. Like Janet, I'd appreciate it if anyone has a good solution.
