Happy New Year to all !
Is there a way of extracting parts of the CSV file to display in a field on my Form.
My staff collect eggs from different mobile egg trailers daily and use my form to log the collections.
I would like to display the total of eggs collected as each staff member submits the form.
So basically a running total of eggs extracted/parsed from the CSV Storage file displayed on the form.
Might not be possible but worth the ask.

I'm not qualified to provide an answer, but confirmation or correction of the following guesses may help those who are so qualified.
1. The form is probably the one at https://files.farmtronics.com.au/001FT_ … /001FT.php .
2. The desired total seems to be the cumulative total of all the eggs collected so far by all the staff for that day.
3. The request suggests that the figure appear within the form. It seems likely therefore to be as information for the collectors. Since the form will appear within a web page, perhaps having the figure appear in the page instead of within the form would suffice.
The above guesses may, of course, be wide of the mark.

Hi Lou,
Does this need to be date specific?

I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

For Frank,
That is the correct form.
The TOTAL would need to identify the Trailer also.
So,
Monday, Trailer 1, 500 Eggs
Monday, Trailer 2, 465 Eggs
Monday, Trailer 3, 512 Eggs Etc
For Eric & Frank,
Yes it would need to display as above for that date.
Some Trailers have eggs collected a number of times a day so that would just accumulate for that Trailer.
But for the next day, or after midnight the totals are all zero ready for the collections for the new day.
The reason behind this is so the manager and staff can view the form and see at a glance how the collections are going for that day.

For Frank,
Sorry forget about your last question regarding the form appearing with a web page.
The form is stand alone and not within a web page.

Proof of concept.

I'll need better details on how this all needs to display and how each person will interact with form. Seeing a form laid out will help.
You may need to refresh the data page to see the new total.

I am just making up a form Eric.
And will send the CSV file to highlight the fields that need to be extracted.

Hi Eric,
Here is the link to form, just to give you an idea of the concept i am trying to acheive:
https://files.farmtronics.com.au/004WZ_ … /004WZ.php
I have also attached the CSV file and highlighted the fields that need to be extracted.
Keep in mind that the entries need to reset at midnight ready for the next day.
The complicated part is that some Trailers might get collected more than once a day not sure how to handle that ??

Would not allow me to attach the CSV file.
Took a screenshot instead.
Took a screenshot instead.
So It looks like the user selects their name and the trailer they are working with and the Total amount of EGGS is what should be showing in the Trailer A and so on after submit?
