Notification Email & Return URL...

Hello, All -

I set-up a few weeks back (using v2.3.5196) and everything works perfectly.

A couple of days ago I set up another form - this time using v2.3.5205 - and it's been an absolute nightmare!

Most of he problems concern the Notification Email - which are almost always never sent. Sometimes they come - but typically they don't.

There are also issues with the return URL. I'm using PayPal payments. The form is accessed through a file called "donate.php" in the top directory of the site. When I set this up everything seemed to work normally. However, today, for some bizarre reason, when I make a test payment I am returned to "index.php".

I can't explain any of it. If something were obviously broken I could fix it - but nothing is.

Does this new form have any spaces in the name?:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

If it's not a spaces issue as Eric mentions above, you will probably need to open a support ticket with CC and send them the .fb file for your form so they can look at it.

Also there's a newer version available too which fixes a few more things and worth taking the time to update it :)

Thanks for your suggestions, chaps.

I've worked out the return URL problem - which CC may or may not want to investigate...

The form sits on a page called donate.php. If I run the form from here there are no return URL problems.

However, you can also access the same page via a different link on the site which takes you to donate.php?page=1. If you process the form from here you are returned to index.php.

As for the Notification Email issue, there seems to be a problem with the CC/BCC fields. If you put an email address in either field, no notification emails are sent - to anyone.

Sounds like a php variable or session issue getting confused between two scripts.:) Been there done that.
