need to drill down... - Post ID 288180

Hello All,

I need to have a questionnaire form that will "drill down"...that is ask a Q and based on the answer divert to another Q, etc. Then at the end...based on how the client answered previous questions, will recommend certain products.

Is this something that WFB can do? I do not want the client to see the next questions until they have chosen an answer to the current question. I hope this makes sense.
Thanks,
MJ

I think the challenging part here will be to evaluate the answers to be able to recommend the right products. If this is about something medical, it's a big risk...
But better wait for Eric and see what he says...
Ha en riktig god dag!

I just helped another CC user with something very much like this. It can be done with the built in conditionals and custom scripts if needed.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Thanks for the reply's...it is not medical, so no worries there.

Eric...I know some about conditionals...but nothing about using custom scripts in WFB. Is there a thread to the one similar you mentioned? I appreciate your help. It is early stage right now, but as I know more details I am sure I will need your help.

Thanks, Eric, (and Inger and Wayan, and others...) for the help you give me and so many others on this forum. Good community to belong to.

Start your form and set a condition on a question based on the previous one.
Dropdown checkbox and radios work the best to be in control of the flow as you set conditionals on actual values. Setting conditions on text or number inputs only looks for blank or not blank. That's where custom scripts can help Also the user wanted the questions to show at keyup not after clicking away or hitting enter. This is where we can adjust scripts to fire on keyup and look for a value if needed.

This was the thread.
