Nice explanation Teresa, Thanks for sharing that and giving a detailed description for those that are also having a hard time getting it working. :)

Yikes! While I did grab the new form maker before the price increase, I haven't even installed it yet. Thanks for the step-by-step Teresa ! I'll have to admit that I'm glad that my current (old) forms do what I need to do as this appears to be a lot more involved.

Hopefully (hint hint) an upgrade may be in the works to allow us to CHOOSE where we want to put our forms and adjust the output accordingly rather than make us jump through so many hoops to use our own servers that we eventually decide to use S-Drive after all ! <sigh>

What many hoops Linda? Export and upload. That is just 2 steps. ;)

LOL. As long as we don't count the half a dozen steps involved in step 2 !

I'll admit, I haven't tried it yet - so instructions may look more complicated than the actual process. I tend to be a firm believer in 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.' so I likely won't mess with it until I need a new form for something.

While I have your attention ... : )
Can I have both programs installed at the same time? Will they play nice?
I did actually attempt to install it when I first grabbed it, but it wasn't an exe and my computer didn't know what to do with it. Something I'm missing?

The steps aren't bad, they just look long because I have broken them down quite a bit (I am a bit dim as Scott will readily attest to and I need the breakdown). Honest, it isn't onerous.

The fiddly bit is having to manually upload from one's computer to the server...I got spoiled with cc's website software that automates both publishing on one's host's server or else on sdrive depending on the publishing options one chooses.

Whew ... good to know. Thanks for clarifying Teresa. I often use Direct FTP to tweak code, so it likely won't be too bad. : )

To answer your question Linda, yes you can have them both installed, flash and html versions play nice together :)

Thanks for an informative post Teresa, I have had a play with publishing to S-Drive using the free version and am considering purchasing the full version of Web Form Builder.

My concerns were about exporting and hosting the files on my server, your post suggests its not too tricky... thanks for the info.

Hiya Gavin,

It's quite nice actually and if you find anything tricky at all just make a post and we'll see if we can help you work it out. Enjoy your new toy :)
