I have created a database for one form which works ok,
When I create a second database on my hosting server for another form, I get message saying "access denied".
I saw from a previous post that this was a known bug but I understood that this had been fixed.
Any help would be appreciated.
Peter.

Hi peter,
Make sure you have the user setting correct for the database that you entered into the Form Builder.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I have checked and double checked the database settings but I still have the same problem. Both have the same settings apart from user name and password. One works and one doesn't.
Any suggestions.

I have checked and found that the permissions for both forms is exactly the same but am still getting the following error.

"Your form could not be submitted for the following reason(s): Failed to execute query associated to this form."

My hosting provider is able to access both forms without any problem so it must be something in the forms that is not quite correct.

Any more suggestions would be very welcome.

Did you let the form builder make the new table or did you make it?

If Form Builder made it you must having something going on because it was able to make the table. Try making a new database submit the form again and see what happens. DBL check the permissions of the user for the database.

Hi Eric,
Created a third database as a test which returned this message on submit.

Your form could not be submitted for the following reason(s):
Failed to open database [1044] SQLSTATE[HY000] [1044] Access denied for user

The form itself is submitted to us as normal.

Its a user permissions issue. Make sure the user you have set in the Form Builder settings has full privileges.

Sorry Eric, how do I set user privileges in Form Builder.
The only way that I know to change privileges is by CMOD on the host server.
I tried to set these the same as the working form but it resulted no access to the page that the form is on and it only cleared when I re-uploaded both the page and the form.
