Hi there folks, sorry if this is a newbie question, but how do i set up multiple forms on my hosting account, at the moment i have one form uploaded, but when i create another it overwrites the last when i upload the files to my account.
If i create a folder for the second form on my server to upload the files to then the second web form does not work, any ideas ?
Thanks
Ryan

Hey Ryan,

The forms only would overwrite one another if you are using the same form name. To have multiple forms, just give each on a unique name.

Pretty clever right? :)

I have a similar question. I have created a form template to be used for several forms. I change the file name and save as a new form name with each form and the csv file associated with it. Each form is saved to it's own html page and published on my web server. Do I have to upload all the files for each form or can I just upload the new php file and csv file? There may be several forms being used at the same time.

Hi Claudia,
The simplest thing to do is to upload all the files for each form to keep things straight. I have a few pages on one site with 6 forms on it and they load and work fine.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I've been using my online registration form for a couple of years now and all has worked fine, I've now got 2 versions of it running - one for single person registration and one for multiple people on one form and they work fine from the root directory (both use the same base, one just has a few extra fields).

I've been working on a test form that will allow the person to select 2 different course lists and it works fine when previewed and fine when I upload it to the site in it's own subfolder. The problem happens when I put the working code into a page on the root directory - then the part that allows them to select different course lists stops working. I've narrowed it down (I think) to the validation_data.js file but can't figure out to customize the code so both can run from the root directory.

I've played with trying to point the form to a second copy of the validation_data file but haven't had any luck.

www.lmac-cpr.ca/registration.html works, www.lmac-cpr.ca/lmac-test.html doesn't (the selection of instructor vs non instructor course is there but not the actual course selection (conditional on choice of instructor course).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Mike,
Why not keep each form in their own directory?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
