Hi,
I'v always had a lot of issues trying to setup my forms using the Manual Server Setup method.
I have created a form - used my free S-Drive slot and the form works perfect on my server.
Then I use the export > Manual Server Setup, add in the code to the site, add in relevant files and upload the lot via FTP.
I submit the form and I get no error message - just the redirected URL that I specified in settings but no form by email...
I have paid for this app but its breaking my heart to use!!
To be honest, I don;t think I should have to pay to post forms, but it would appear the manual method is very hard to put into practical use
Any ideas?

It's actually very easy and many users are having no problem at all. My question is, Who is your host ? I know many users have problems with 'GoDaddy', although I don't seem to, but CoffeeCup has put out specific instructions on how to correct that. The problem is not with the program, it's with the server. But there is a fix for most anything.
Another question would be this... have you modified the email code after you exported the files? If not, then it's either in your settings or it's a problem with how your server handles email. Some use 'form mail' and some use SMTP. Do you know how your server handles mail?
If your form works on S-Drive then it will work anywhere. We just need to find the right settings. Let us know what you find out about your server.

Hi,
I'm using this hosting plan:
http://hosting.digiweb.ie/website-hosting/business-linux/
From my hosting company support:
The PHP mail function is enabled on the server. You need to use “from” an email address existing on your account. The server authenticates the mail user before sending mails. This has been enabled to check spamming on the server. Feel free to contact us if you have any further queries.
I am using a sub directory to test this website - Form on the bottom of this page:
http://cgreen.ie/test/christening-candles.html
If you give me a contact email, I can forward you my site files for analysis -
Thanks - I would be delighted to see a mistake I am making so I can finally get to use this form software....

I would not want you to send me your details as that is not secure. If you need to go that route, you should open a support ticket with CoffeeCup and that would be more secure.
This has been a problem I think for many users. In WFB on the settings tab, go to email notices. Check the box for 'Notification Message' and 'Auto-response' if you want one sent. Then in the 'From' box you need to enter an email address with your servers ID. As an example, what is your email address (don't post it here or you'll get SPAMed) It should be something like 'yourname@hosting.digiweb.ie Whatever it is, then that is what needs to be put in the 'From' box. It has to show that it's coming FROM your server. Now, if you have you own domain there as I do (my DOMAIN is gunsmoke.me) so my email is similar... myname at gunsmoke.me would be an example email, then you should be able to enter that. Of course replace at with the @ symbol. Enter a vailid email from your server in the from box and see if that fixes your issue. Let us know.

Hi,
I uploaded a very simple TEST form here:
http://cgreen.ie/test/contact-us.html
I tried that idea of adding an email whose domain is located on the hosting plan being used and no joy -

I'd open a support topic with CoffeeCup. I'm sure they can get you going if the settings are correct. Just go to 'Your Support Room' under your name on the top menu to open a support topic. If it's some weird fix, post back and let us know. Thanks.

Thanks Eric - But this at the end can't be good:
PHP Sessions:
Sorry, sessions don't appear to work on this server. FormBuilder won't work without them.
- My hosting plan is business level so I assume it would be kitted to use this software!
