I just added an opt in for my Mailchimp mailing list on my websites with web form builder and everything works great!
I added the form on a few pages for each website, pages where I have painting tutorials.
Just one concern, if someone fills out the form but then goes to another painting tutorial page on the same website, the pop up will keep on appearing ? Is there a way to disable the pop up once people signed in?

See example here: www.watercolorpainting.ca
on those pages :
http://www.watercolorpainting.ca/demons … urent.html
http://www.watercolorpainting.ca/demons … riend.html
http://www.watercolorpainting.ca/demons … nting.html
http://www.watercolorpainting.ca/demore … nting.html

Thanks!

The popup will always appear after XX seconds if that is how it is configured. It has no way to know what "state the visitor maybe in. I am sure there is some JavaScript you could write that looks at the browser REFER and if they are already on your site, don't display it. For that, I have no idea how to implement it. ;)
