Integration of Form Designer with Web...

I recently purchased the latest upgrade to Web Form Builder and was anxious to see what was new. Except for the additional of many new free themes, nothing new and spectacular seemed to be there.

I also wanted to see if I could integrate a form built with Form Designer with the back-end processing modules from WFB and put the resulting form on my own server.

I don't remember if I was ever successful getting this to work in the past. I could not find a tutorial of this whole procedure as I thought there was one some time ago.

A ZIP file with all pertinent files are on this server:
https://multisite.cloudaccess.host/Test%20Form.zip

The files in this ZIP file are:
The Form Designer .fdp
The Form Designer exported files (suffixed with a (fd) )
The Web Form Builder .fb
The Web Form Builder exported files (suffixed with a (wfb) )
The Test Form Merged folder that would be uploaded to the server (and renamed Test Form)

Note that the inner folder in Test Form Merged, Test Form, contains all the files from both the FD and WFB exported folder with the same name. The file form.html has been modified to use: action="../Test%20Form.php" instead of what was exported by the FD when built. Test Form.html is not used, but may come in to play if any processing errors occur as this form is referenced as to where the errors have occurred.
The index.html file is from FD and the Test Form.php file is from WFB. The Thank You.html was made with the HTML Editor.

This simple example works and can be seen at:
https://multisite.cloudaccess.host/Test%20Form

The form inputs were stored in a file name, form-results.csv, in the storage folder of the inner Test Form folder. You will not be able to see this without have FTP privileges on my server. Sorry about that.

A previous version of this test did not work when I used Checkboxes in both forms. I don't know nor did I try to see if other elements would not translate well to both products. I also did not use many other processing options on the FD form that may be necessary for validation, etc.

I'll leave it to you to modify the forms in both products and make additional tests on your own server, if you so choose.

Hope you find this useful as product integration seems to be a lingering problem.

Thanks, Eric.

That was the article I was looking for.

Unfortunately, it really doesn't tell you how to merge the back-end files from WFB with the front-end files from Form Designer. And, it doesn't tell you how to put all the form files on any other server than S-Drive.

One thing, I just used a simple web page for the <iframe> and script to use the form and did not use RSD or SD as the article suggests.

As you can see from my post, I did get it to work the way I wanted.
