I am trying out the Form Builder (lite version) and am getting this error message:

Input error: k: Format of site key was invalid

on this page

http://www.acquirenewclients.com/contact-us.html

What is the solution to this?

The problem here is you still have your CAPTCHA keys pointing over to S-Drive. You need to put your own keys into your form now.

To do this, go to the Forms Tab, and then under CAPTCHA, change that from Automatic to Manual. You then need to go to http://www.google.com/recaptcha and obtain your own keys.

Thanks for responding. I don't see a CAPTCHA option off the forms tab....the only thing I see is Visitors, Starts and Submits. Am I in the wrong forms tab?

You enter your keys in the form builder on the Form Properties tab after you select Captcha then manual.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Okay,

I may be dense but this was billed as easy and it is not. I am test driving the lite version of From Builder and I changed the CAPTCHA from Automatic to Manual. I got my own public and private keys for CAPTCHA. Then I entered my keys in the form builder on the Form Properties tab.

Same message

Input error: k: Format of site key was invalid

Are there more steps I need to know about?

Thank you. I truly appreciate the comment. They should not include the feature in the lite version if it can't be done in the manner described. After test driving I would probably use I for multiple sites but now I am a little disappointe.

If you are on S-Drive you don't need to use your own keys. This is done for your automatically. You only manually insert your own keys if you want to use it on your own server. This applies for both types of exporting methods. So why are you disappointed Byron? :)

Scott,

I believe you were the first to respond to this post and you instructed me to:

"The problem here is you still have your CAPTCHA keys pointing over to S-Drive. You need to put your own keys into your form now.

To do this, go to the Forms Tab, and then under CAPTCHA, change that from Automatic to Manual. You then need to go to http://www.google.com/recaptcha and obtain your own keys."

I believe I followed your instructions and I still was not able to use the CAPTCHA feature....not a huge deal. I really appreciate CC and the support. I was a little disappointed because after following instructions the feature seems not to be available for the lite version of formbuilder. If it's not available for the lite version, I understand. if it is available I think it could be clearer how to use it.

This not at the center of my expertise so I am always happy to be corrected :)

Regards,

Bryon

The LITE version only publishes to S-Drive, so there is no need to change the keys. However if you want to, just obtain your own. Make sure when you get your key from Google to check the box "Enable this key on all domains (global key)" Not doing that can also cause the problem.

See why publishing to S-Drive is so much easier. ;)
