Sorry. I know there are many threads about similar problems over years.
DoDaddy.
I used HTML Editor and rewrote in RSD. Have a form that I want to have write records to CSV. I get confirm emails but this error on form page:
Warning: [ err 2/line 84D:\Hosting\7528996\html\contact_form\fbapp\inc\utilities.inc.php] error_log(D:\Hosting\7528996\html\contact_form/storage/fb_error.log.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied
Failed to record the data because the server is too busy or doesn't have write permission.

Tried to change Storage folder permissions via your FTP and get this:
When sending custom QUOTE commands to the remote server, one of the commands returned a 400 or higher error code. [21] Additional information: QUOT string not accepted: SITE CHMOD 0777 storage.
Server has replied: [500] 'SITE CHMOD 0777 storage': command not understood.

Before RSD I used to get the records written but that was over a year ago that I stopped.

Can you direct me to some solution posts or help me out?

I don't think you can change permissions over FTP for a Windows server. You have to do that through your hosting control panel. You can only do that with FTP if you are on a Linux server.
Learn the essentials with these quick tips for Responsive Site Designer, Responsive Email Designer, Foundation Framer, and the new Bootstrap Builder. You'll be making awesome, code-free responsive websites and newsletters like a boss.

Thanks. Found that out by going to GoDaddy Chat, finally. Eventually they had someone set permissions for my Storage folder and the CSV file gets written!!
All is right with the world again!
I see there's an upgrade to RSD. I'll see if it's something i need. Also weighing FF and Bootstrap.
Thanks.

The new RSD v2 has RFF and RBB built in and also has many more extra features...if you want one that does it all then this is the one to buy.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
