So when the email comes to me it is the name of the form but.....if i open it then click reply it will reply to the email on the form as it should. What I would like to see if a form comes back to me it will have the email address from the form because if I get 10 emails from the form I have to open all of them to see who it is from.
Does that make sense?

"The email for the person submitting it needs to be one of the elements that's added to the actual form for the user to fill out." It is. Name-Phone-Email-Comments It still comes from whatever I name the form. If I name it Contact, then the submitted email comes from Contact@mydomain.com. If I name it Register, it comes from register@mydomain.com. If you click on reply it goes nowhere because Contact@ and Register@ are not real email addresses.

Hi Eric,

I downloaded your FB file the only thing i see is you added your email address in the from line I think what me and Lloyd are saying is that we would like to see if we can put the [email] in the from section so that the email is from the form user submission I added my email to that line and now it comes from my email not the form submission email

"That's definitely something they should be able to implement..."
That's how the Flash version worked. The form came from the email address of the person sending it, not from whatever email address I put into the form or from whatever I named the form.
I am not concerned with the address in a reply message to the submitter, as I seldom ever have used that feature. I usually re-direct to a Thank You page, where I can put more information if needed.

Now that I have upgraded to the new web form builder I am having the same issue as mentioned above. The old flash version would have the sender's email address as the "from" address and you could literally reply back to them directly from the form result email and keep the entire communication as one "conversation".

Now all the completed form emails are addressed from my same email address and are lumped together in my account (gmail). When I respond to someone who fills out a form, I have to manually copy and paste an email address AND their form results are now separate from my reply that I send. I can't use form results like this and will have to go back to the old version for now. Please adjust this part to be similar to the old flash version.

I have previously raised this issue. The email informing me that a Customer has submitted a form is always addressed from;

'skiporderform@hstbronze@zetnet.co.uk' which is a different address to the customers.

Granted, when I reply to the email, it sends to the correct address but I must admit, i preferred the old days where the email showed in my inbox as joebloggs@btinternet.com - Subject - Online Skip Order.

As it is now, If I need to review an email order, I have to open each email from the above address until I find the relevant Order Form.......t'is a pain :(

I did find that the problem never occurred when exporting automatically BUT then the emails, for some unknown reason, were taking up to twelve hours to come through. So I reverted back to exporting manually.

I must say that, for me, this is the No. 1 issue that I wish CC could solve, however, as the pro's far outweigh the cons with WFB, I'll live with it (but secretly, I really hope, this issue could be looked at again) ;)
