Form not working after latest update

Hi,

After the latest update, one of my forms that I have updated today is not working.

I have not altered any settings but the form is not sending the results email to us or redirecting to another page.

The send button will show if a question has been missed and it will send the auto response email but the form remains on the page and still showing with the details that I have put in as a test.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sounds like a bad upload. I would delete all the form files off your server and re-upload again and see if that helps.

Hi Scott,

I have done as you said and the problem is still there.

When the send button is clicked, nothing happens other than the acknowledgement email is sent.

We do not receive the submitted details nor does the redirect to another page work.

I have uploaded the original form but as it had to be opened in the updated form builder to generate the code, the same problem is now happening on that form as well although it worked perfectly before the update.

There is no problem with our web hosting company and all of our other forms are working fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Scott,

I have unistalled the latest update and reinstalled version 1.1 build 3261, re-uploaded the forms and they are all now working.

Is there a bug in the latest update?

No bug I am aware of. ;)

I can guarantee that the issue is with bad upload.

What I can't understand is how I uploaded the form several times with the new version and could not get it to work but it now works using the earlier version.

Pete do you have antivirus running during your upload?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

The antivirus is has always been working and I have had no problems with uploads for the last 2 years and we update sometimes two or three times a day.

This one form was updated yesterday with the latest version of form builder and it would not work whilst my other 5 forms which were uploaded with the previous version continued to work perfectly.

I uploaded the problem form half a dozen times which resulted in the same problem. I uninstalled version 1.2 and reinsalled version 1.1, resaved the form, uploaded it and the form now works fine.

I even uploaded a backup version which was created with version 1.1 and has been working perfectly but, as I had to export it through version1.2 to create the code, it then had the same fault.

This is why I say that there is a bug in the latest update.

How can you have a problem with a form without altering any settings after a software update which then corrects itself if you revert back to a previous version?

The question is... Did you go to your server. Delete all files that are related to the form in question and THEN reupload your form?

Everything relating to the form in question was deleted from the server and reuploaded from scratch.

There was a problem after using version 1.2 I am now using version 1.1 Problem solved.
