Setup a form that posts to my own MySQL database. There have been some users fill the form, receive the thank you email but the data never posts in the database. Usually it comes from those who post the form twice ( this is for soccer registration so some families have several kids) any reason?

DRRRR:lol:

Yes it is working for 98% of people but there has been at least 5 so far that has not update the database. They DID get the conformation email but there is nothing in the DB.

Just got another. There is definitely a pattern here. Every one has been a two child family and one of the submitted names never makes it to the DB.

OK i just did a test and YES YES YES!
i CAN replicate the issue.
i filled out the form (name test one), clicked submit, get the email and redirected to another page
hit the back button, fill out the form (name test two) click submit, get the email and redirected to the other page.

now check the DB and "test one" is not there, only "test two" is in the DB.
How do i track this down?

Hiya smartmoney,

I think at this point you should report this to CC using the support ticket system. They may require you to send them your .fb file so they can test and replicate your issue, but sounds to me like they definitely should be made aware and part of this testing you're doing. Good luck on it and hopefully they can either shed some like on a setting or replicate the issue to fix it :)

Yup I agree with Jo. Open a support topic and see if CC can track down the issue for you It may be a server issue but it probably isn't if you can replicate it continuously.:)

i will submit when i get home to send them the .fb file. I am using the most recent version (previous version had the IE Dropdown bug which this version fixed)

I have 3 forms total.
Form 1 after submit i used the option "redirect to url" on the form to push them to another page (payment) and send user an email
Form 2 after submit i used the option "redirect to url" on the form to push them to another page (thankyou) and send user an email
Form 3 uses(i dont remember option) but it shows the user what was submitted. NO EMAIL

Form 1 and 2 both show the above issue

form 3 works every time

Did you type the proper url for the redirect?

Yes the redirect works fine. They are redirected to the proper page for paypal payment (not using form paypal payment) or "thank you" page.
