So I have searched through the forum looking for an example of how to do this and haven't come up with much. So any help with a simple example or point me in the right direction would be appreciated. I have looked at this Link http://www.coffeecup.com/forums/web-form-builder/form-not-submitted-because-fielda-does-not-have-valid-value/?post_id=260894#post260894 but it does not work in my code.

Hi Marlin, What exactly are you trying to do? Do you need dependent dropdowns or just a single dropdown from mysql?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Take a look at this post.

You will only be looking at the dropdown1.html, dropdown1.php, and the pdo_connect.php. You won't need any js.

Eric, thanks for the help, the only other issue I have is the html file doesn't seem to run the include file. if I change the file name to php and add the php code to the file everything works as expected. I might have to configure the server to run php within html so I will check that later.

Yes, I configure my server to parse php inside html. A couple of lines added to the .htaccess
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
