I have a site created in Adobe Muse which works perfectly. I cannot embed by Web Form Builder Form into the site by inserting the HTML code CoffeeCup provides for the form. The form is on S-Drive but cannot be extracted, linked, pasted, etc in anyway that I have found.

Hey RJ,

Welcome to the forums! What version of Web form builder are you using?

When you publish to S-drive, after all files have been uploaded, you get a popup window containing a script that looks somewhat like this:
<script type="text/javascript">document.write(unescape("%3Cscript src='http" + (document.location.protocol == 'https:' ? 's' : '') + "://www.coffeecup.com/api/sdrive/forms/form.js?name=myform%26slug=4506%26height=451%26crossdomains=true%26rand=" + Math.floor( Math.random() * 1000000000 ) + "' type='text/javascript'%3E%3C/script%3E"));</script>

Follow the directions in the popup window and paste the script on your page where you want the form to appear.
Done! ;)

I followed the directions and embedding the code didn't work for me. I am using Wix. What next?

Do you have a link to the form on S-Drive? Also, have you checked with WIX to see if they allow linking to forms not hosted with them? Have you tried to insert the HTML code for the form directly? (ie. don't link to the form on s-drive, but instead export your form to your hard disk and upload the form files to your WIX host)

You say it's not working...are you getting an error message of any kind?

Okay, I went to WIX and created a site. Here is how I got my form to work...and it should work for S-Drive forms too, though I don't have one on S-Drive to test.

Go to the page to Edit your WIX site. Click the ADD button, then select 'Apps'. Then select HTML.

This will give you and HTML box on the screen and a pop up window for content. All I did was put in the web site to link to. For example. I have a contact form located at http://gunsmoke.me/contactform/contactform.html

This is the HTML file created by the WFB. I put that link in the box near the top of the popup where it asks for the web address. Then adjust the size of the HTML box to fit your form and viola! It works.

Let me know if you still have problems, and if you do, what the link to your form on S-Drive is. :cool:

Of course, you know you can create your own web site using the free HTMLEditor by CoffeeCup, or if you don't know how to code you can use CoffeeCups Visual Site Designer. There is a 7 day trial for VSD and you can host your entire site, including the form, on CoffeeCups S-Drive for FREE! Of course for a small fee you can get many more options. Just thought I'd mention . . .

That's all fine and good but doesn't the link have to work first...when I click on the link for my form which is
http://csrashag.coffeecup.com/forms/Summer%20workshop/

I get the following message:
This page can't be displayed

•Make sure the web address http://csrashag.coffeecup.com is correct.
•Look for the page with your search engine.
•Refresh the page in a few minutes.

Shouldn't I also be able to go to Wix and use the App created by Wix to embed and copy and paste the following
<script type="text/javascript">document.write(unescape("%3Cscript src='http" + (document.location.protocol == 'https:' ? 's' : '') + "://www.coffeecup.com/api/sdrive/forms/form.js?name=Summer%2520workshop%26slug=245291%26width=814%26height=1658%26crossdomains=true%26rand=" + Math.floor( Math.random() * 1000000000 ) + "' type='text/javascript'%3E%3C/script%3E"));</script>
and my form appear on the webpage??????

That link loads your form for me here.

Your form loads fine for me too. One thing I would recommend, and may cause the problem with WIX (I'll have to check) is that you should removed the 'space' from the form name. Some browsers/servers work with spaces, some do not.

You can see your form on my WIX test site here ... http://gunsmoke7874.wix.com/testsite

Form works great. You must be missing something on how you're putting into WIX. But it does work.
