Hello!

I've been searching through the forums because apparently a lot of people have this issue but none of the solutions seem to work.

I'm trying to set up the email confirmation for the sender, and also the notification email so the company gets the orders to their email (and can reply to them directly from there.. it's gmail). Not really sure what to try next, as I've tried using suggestions from other posts but to no avail. I'd love to get this sorted ASAP!

If someone could help that would be great :)

That really is the primary function of the software. What specifically is not working for you?

At the moment we are just logging into CoffeeCup to check orders, copying the details and pasting them into gmail to reply to them.

But obviously to save time it'd be great to set up email notifications so we can deal with it that way (it'd be much quicker). So I'm putting in the company email in the 'to:' section.

Then in the from section I'm sticking in giddystudios@coffeecup.com (I read a suggestion somewhere to use @coffeecup.com because of server issues, not sure where..) I tested it with our company email in there too to see if that was the problem but it wasn't. The email notification just isn't working yet.

Then underneath I'm setting up the email confirmation for the customer. For testing sake I've used my own email, but when I fill out a form and submit it, I don't get a confirmation email (not in spam either), nor does the company get the notification.

Also I should say I haven't put the form anywhere, we are just getting customers to come directly to the coffeecup form page, so it's nothing to do with the company website at all.

Any ideas?
Thanks for your help!

Edit: Would a screenshot help? :P

As long as your form is configured exactly like this, replying to an email will work exactly as you are describing you need it to. If you hard-code a FROM address, then it will always come from that address. This is why you set it to the Email Address Element name (same as the Reply-Top drop down.o

Check your SPAM folder. 99.999% of the time if it is not in your INBOX, it is there. If for some reason your email provider is blocking emails at the server level, test out different TO addresses (Gmail, Yahoo etc). From the many years From Builder has been around, I can almost guarantee you that anytime an email does not arrive, it is from an over active spam filter.

Nope, I had been checking spam too across all accounts before, and again just there, but nothing is going anywhere. Really don't know what the issue could be.

Did you try other email addresses in the TO field (Gmail, Yhaoo etc)? Don't just try one, try mulultiples. If so and they have not arrived, contact the support team for whoever handles your email and have them look into why they are blocking messages from your form.

Yeah I tried several addresses from different providers, none of which work sadly. The company email is Gmail, using the website's domain for email forwarding to the Gmail.
I'm beginning to think it's probably Gmail. If I contact them will they be able to unblock the form submissions? I just don't have anything to show them seeing as the emails aren't even in spam.

Thanks for the help.

Gmail should work perfectly. I would start by contacting each of the support departments of whoever handles your email and see if the can look into why they are blocking messages. If you want to attach your project file I can look over the settings just to make sure there are not obvious issues.
