Editing the existing confirm email...

Hello all,
A quick question; I am using the included email templates in WFB to send my confirmation emails. I am using the "Blank Confirmation" template. Now when I go to edit the template (Simple edits in the wording), I get the the editor where I can make my changes. The first field is the template name, then the email HTML code . . . and the rest . . . you know where I am at.

My question is; can I change the name of the template, in the "template name" field, so I keep the original html in the "Blank confimation" template for future uses?

I searched in the forums and couldn't find anything about that. I realize, by all the references in the help files that I "need" to buy RED . . . but for now that is not an option for me.

Thanks in advance.

Click the little pencil at the bottom of the confirmation tab window. Then you can edit the name of the template at the top of the design panel and save it.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Yes, be sure to change the name before saving! I wiped out 3 templates messing around with edits before I realized what I had done. :o

Thank you Eric, Your help is always appreciated. I guess it would be easier to go RED, and I will in time.

Thanks Paintbrush, I think I might have done that already. One thing I did noticed; I edited one of the template without changing the name, after saving the edited template I had two templates with the same name. One edited, and one which was the original template . . . but they both had the same name.
