Change the wording in the app then alter the css after manual export then publish and you should be good to go.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Thanks Eric but I have now discovered that if you change the Select one wording, it cancels out the required element so I will have to leave things as they are but maybe it's something for CC to look at as I feel that Select one is more like an order rather that a request.

I wanted to change it to something like Please Choose One.

I confirmed that the drop down required fails for some reason on one of my forms. I'll contact the gurus and let them know.:)

Pete I was able to fix mine by toggling the required on and off and back on again then saving, manual exporting and publishing it.:) I used custom text "Please Choose Your Name". Give that a try and post back.

Eric,

Brilliant!

It works!

Thanks a lot for taking the time to test it out .....

Now, having done it on one form, which only has one dropdown box, I will change the others but they all have several.....

Hmmmm ....... now, what we need is for CC to make it that the wording can be changed easily to whatever anyone would like......

What I meant was that maybe there was a way that the wording could be changed for every dropdown box automatically rather than having to change them one at a time.

My original posting was asking if there was some way to alter the code to do this.

You can always create the element(s) without the choices and copy and paste them. I like to create placeholder elements that have the basic settings of the elements in them so I don't have to change them all each time I create one. Then just copy and paste it and add your new text and choices. This saves your sizes, texts, colors, required settings, etc. easily for copying and pasting base elements. Hopefully that makes sense :)
