I am having some issues with publishing a form to a website I help maintain, and I need some help.
This all started with getting the following error when trying to submit the form results:
Failed to open database [2003] SQLSTATE[HY000] [2003] Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061).
In consultation with my web admin (We're part of a not-for-profit and I'm one of his deputies), he's asked why I need access to a MySQL database to publish results of the form in two emails (one to the submitter, one to the person who needs the form results). I may have also created a confirmation screen that shows the form results, but I have no problem taking that out.
Admittedly, our server does not meet all the requirements for the form. Our version of PHPmyadmin is just at 5.0, which I acknowledge could be part of the issue at play. However, I would like to have an answer to give our admin so he can help me out.
Thanks!
Do I need a MySQL Database to Publish...
Hi Kseniia, you don't need to save form data to MYSQL for the form to function, just uncheck the option in the form settings. If it is a compatibility issue and you want to save the records you can use the CSV option in the form settings

You need to contact your host and have them upgrade your php version to at least 5.3
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
