Display Rules Prevent Hiding Email...

I have my form which must start with the user selecting one of two answers.

After they select either answer, they are presented with different form fields using the display rules. This works fine.
I have added an email address at the bottom of the form that (again, using display rules) only appears onscreen along with the other form fields after they answer the initial question in my first line above.

Here's the catch — when using display rules to hide the form field until they make the initial selection, I cannot get the confirmation email drop down to display their email address. I am forced to display their email address field at all times which I'm trying to avoid. See screenshot for clarity. Am I missing a step?

Hi Matt,
Any field that you want to submit needs to be showing when submitted.
If you could share a link to the actual form so we could see your display rules that would help.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Well, to be clear, the user field where they input their email address is visible at the time the individual hits the submit button. I just can't understand why it's not available as an option when configuring the email confirmation.

Here's the temporary LIVE form link while we finalize the form:

Here's a zip file to the form itself:

Please hide this from public view when complete.

Just an idea, I'm not at my pc to check. If you set the email before setting the conditionals does it stick?

Within the project file you posted the useremail input is available for me to select on the confirmation tab.
I selected it and saved. See if this project file works.

My apologies. That zip file did NOT have the display rules applied to the email field. Please view this again. New file uploaded:

It's set to display always in that project also.

I just checked the link and it's accurate. It has the display rule applied to the email, so I'm not sure how you're seeing something different. By the way — I did try setting the email prior to the display rule. No luck.

That's really interesting. Because when I download the .fb file, I don't have that. The email field IS set with display rules. I'm not sure if there's a glitch or perhaps something that's changing between my OSX and your Windows platform, but I promise it is set with display rules. See attachment to reconfirm that.
