If I have certain fields noted as "required" but they are hidden due to display rules, will the form be sent if there is no information in these required fields? Does the form ignore what the user does not see?

Yes, hidden fields are no longer required.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.
