Display images - Post ID 222414
Anyone have any ideas about displaying images on the web form? I have a small (w:150 x h:200) .png image and no matter what I've tried, the darn thing insists on locating itself near the middle of the form. I haven't tried CSS yet and I'm beginning to think I may have to go that route. I'm reluctant because I have no idea how to get css to work with a form.
I just installed the newest version 2.4.5318

Did you add an image or use an html element?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

If the form is on a page you are developing, well, there's more than 1 way to skin that cat
I just create the form and publish. Then put the image over the form. Check it out... http://gunsmoke.me/contact.html
Of course, if you are giving the form to someone else and letting them add it to a page, then you might need css . . .

Hi Eric,
I added the image. I clicked on the "Magical Elements" Image item. The large coffee cup appeared, I clicked on the "+" and added my image, then removed (sorry CoffeeCup!) the large default coffee cup image and link. My image appears but it appears that there are set places on the form for items that cannot be edited.

Hi Gunsmoke,
Saw what you were talking about, I'll try that out. I'm putting it on a Pipeband website for members to reply to their Ceilidh (Pronounced: CayLee) attendance RSVP. It appears that the form element locations are "put in stone".

I've seen this problem with a form I made. Were you putting it in the footer of the form by any chance?

I dropped the element where I saw "Drop Here". If there's an option available to remove the "default" I would sure like to find it. Right now, the default drop position is the middle of the form and when I drop the image or actually any element, all of the elements on the form are pushed up and down out of the way.
Mess with the percent width. Then padding. You can also use spacer elements to control where thing end up before response and after.

Thanks Eric, I'll try that.
Well, on top of everything else, I think I've found a bug. In Form Options, I select the Name field as the "Auto Focus" field, save the form but when I return to the Form Options, "Auto Focus" has been reset to the last element on the form. I'm beginning to think my PC 'hiccuped' during the download?
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
