I added the code with noconflict, but now the calendar doesn't show-up... But the conditional items do.
I changed jQ('#item1_date') to jQ('#item250_date') - is there something else I need to modify?

I was unable to get a numerical date to work, when the calendar didn't display...so thought I'd hide the "work in progress" from public view!

Change the id of your datepicker in your form.
to
id="item250_date_1"
to
id="item250_date"
