Contact List giving me error - Post...
First time using a contact list. Followed the directions located here:
http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/contact-lists-in-web-form-builder/
It says the format is something like:
sales:name<you@domain.com>
I followed it just as it stated and made one of my selections as follows:
Main Street:Main Street Location<ctauto111@att.net>
When I test the form it gives me an error stating it 'doesn't contain a valid value'.
When I hover over the little question mark next to the option of contact list it showed to type it as below:
Main Street:ctauto111@att.net
When I changed it to the above, it worked! However, I want it to say the 'name' and not the email. I've tried this twice and getting the same results. Any help would be appreciated.

Remove the spaces from the name.

There should be a space between the name and the left bracket <
Ok I will try these later today. What's funny though, is that in the example given via the link by CC, they have spaces in their 'name' and no space between the 'name' and the left bracket.
I would open a support topic and see if their validation scripts are setup wrong.

I tried inserting a space before the bracket but that didn't work.
When I removed the spaces in the 'name' and used dashes (ex: Main-Street-Location) that worked.
Either this is a bug and CC needs to fix it or they need to correct their instructions on how to do it.
