Are you using webform builder light or the full version

Do you want to upload to SDRIVE or another hosting account

Viv Hi,

I finally figured it out last night. I used the same steps as I did to upload the picture gallery. The glitch was when I would save the form builder it would save to my desk top not to the file where the rest of my website is. I am using Form Builder classic 8 and wanted to upload it to VSD.

Now on to to my next task...

I am ready to upload my entire site to my host, Host Gator. I have never uploaded anything through FTP. I have always done template based site building so this will be my first time using FTP. I have Direct FTP 6.9 through CC. Any help suggestion on doing this to make it smooth and easy would be appreciated.

TIA

Hello People,

I guess I spoke to soon in regards to uploading my "contact us" form in form builder. I got it to work last night but I altered it a bit this morning and now can not get it to load. Here are the steps I did to upload...
1. built the form
2. saved it In saving it it saves to my desktop by default I'm not sure if that is godd or bad?
3. switch to VSD
4. open page Where I want to put it
5. click on flash icon witch opens up a box to browse
6. go to desktop then click on the file and click save

Last night this worked but today I get an error message that says... "You have either selected a non xml file or the HTML file it references is not present in the directory". I tried a number of times to upload but get the same message. This is the only file that appears in the browser to upload and it was the same way I did it last night. Any help is appreciated.

TIA

Daniel, If you make a few tweaks to your form you shouldn't have to had to your site again. VSD will see that you changed it and upload the correct files when you publish. I think the best thing to do is use the remove flash button and delete the old flash and then click on add flash then browse to the xml file generated by form builder classic.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Eric Hi,

I figured out through trial and error how to get it to work. I think I make things too complicated when I'm not sure what to do. Thanks for the suggestion. Next time I tweek the form I will let VSD do the work. You've told me that in the past.

Eric I am now ready to upload this site to my server host which is Host Gator. I have never done this or used FTP before. I've always been template based within the host. Any help suggestions to get me going in the right direction is appreciated. I do have Direct FTP 6.9 with CC. Now how and where do I begin.

TIA

Yes. Click on Publish at the very top left hand side of VSD then ftp Account settings and enter your info. Test them then hit the Publish world icon.

Eric, no idea? I clicked on that and it asks me for my FTP account settings? Don't know what I am suppose to do with that. I also clicked on my coffee cup direct FTP download and there are lots of files in their. Some do not look like they belong but again not sure. Also another note I do not see the files for my contact form. When I saved them they seemed to just default to my desktop. When I try to put them within my documents where the rest of my site files are they don't go in. Is this okay and the way form builder is?

Please remember that you are dealing with someone who has never uploaded outside of a template based sight before so what may seem obvious is greek to me at this point.

Eric Thanks
