Just wanted to clarify/confirm the following:

When using conditional rules for creating a text box, that referenced a dropdown field with a particular selection from that field, does the text box associated with the selection get updated in the database?

Just to give an example (because I am not sure whether the above is confusing or not):

Scenario:
I have a dropdown field Category with 5 options - one of which is "Other".
I have a text box that is conditional based on the user selecting "Other" option from the dropdown list, where the user can insert their own [text].

Question:
Will the data/text that was entered manually by the user be posted to the relevant field (Category) in the database?

Yes, it will be. The field [category] will contain 'other', and the field [text] will contain whatever the user inputs. Cool huh?
