To me the difference in a 'square' checkbox or a 'round' radio button is not really significant. I know it can be for some. And I think CC should address this issue, soon. But for now, I'd just use checkboxes to solve your problem.

True, and that is not a bad idea. I think I may do that, use checkboxes. I really don't want to edit the files manually each time it's republished. This group is still adding fields to the form, and I would be manually updating A LOT. :-(

Yea, I think we all hate repetitive editing. Not that clients seem to mind... :D

This is not a bug.;)
Having at least one radio button selected is standard. The problem with not requiring a selection comes in when they make a choice. Once a radio button is selected it's always selected unless it's part of a group where you can change your selection to another choice.

The other thing you can do to give the users the ability to "skip" a radio button selection setup without making it required and without worrying about it even having a default selection is to create a generic nothing selection such as:

( ) No Preference

Or whatever works for words for your particular form such as "no choice", "not interested", etc.

Make it something that doesn't matter to you or them and it's good to go. Make that the default selection and that's all you should need to do.

If you insist on the radio button make sure put a note on there that the user will have to refresh their browser if they make a mistake.

Would be nice for radio buttons to do this but checkboxes are a great work around. Can't see a lot of difference

You can override with jQuery.;)
