Bad coding? - Post ID 194682
Is it me or is the default auto-response/Thank you for your submission message in WFB not coded properly? It has been like that since day one and since nobody has mentioned it, I thought I was just being a lamer. That may well be the case, however, all the books and validator software I have tried says in an html file there should not be anything else outside the closing body tag but the closing html tag. In WFB there is a closing div between the closing body and html tags. That just doesn't seem right but I'll bow to superior knowledge if I am wrong.
Hiya Dave,
Are you on the most recent version? I was under the impression that had been fixed a couple versions ago. I haven't installed the latest build, but I did install the one right before it last week and I didn't see that in there at all. Not to say it may not have reverted lol, but hopefully it's just an older version thing for you.

Yep, latest downloaded from the usual download site...
Hmm I'll see if I can remember later to check it out. I'm very sure that was corrected in a previous version as it was actually reported a good handful of times to the devs prior and during the beta testing of it. I'll let ya know what I find out on mine later

It's still there in v.2, Build 4263.

Interesting, that would mean it's there "again" because I'm 100% sure that was fixed in a previous version as I remember checking it.... Scooottttt!
