Root User root@localhost to something more reflective of the website hosting the form

I recall a discussion of how to change the from address in the auto response thank you email from the

Click on "Settings" then Email Notices".

Well I guess it's not working. I just tested my form and it says Root User <root@localhost> is where it came from for the response to the person submitting the form but the auto response back to me telling me that someone has submitted the form says the form name like it should. Just a little glitch. They'll get it fixed.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

If the form is setup correctly, it will always come from form-name@coffeecup.com if you are not using a custom domain name.
You have to make sure under the settings you just have it configured correctly.

I was just going to say that.
The from address has to always be a valid email address, not a name.

Gotcha! A hint with you@domain.com would be nice as a fill text.
I just confirmed that it doesn't have to be a valid email address but it should be.
I had a typo.
So it said my email address with an extra letter.

I third the vote for being able to edit this.
Classic allowed me to specify the From:, and my spam and email filters sorted the email properly. Now it gets caught in the mail server spam filter, and is difficult to retreive
My WebForm Handler <my user@my domain.com>
doesn't get captured, where <file_name@my domain.com> does
