Adding "Name" to "From" field in...
Is there a way to add the name of the submitter, as specified in the name field (in my case [name]) to the "From" field in the e-mail notification that comes to me (not going to the submitter)? So that when the e-mail arrives to me, I see a name in the from field of the e-mail instead of just the email address.
I tried adding [name] (the name of the field I want) next to [email1] (the name of my email field), but anything other than [email1] in that field gives me the error: The notification "From" field does not contain a properly formatted email address.
I know how to do it to the php file if I export it and host it myself, but I wanted to know if it can be done to a form that is hosted on S-drive since we don't have direct access to the php file there.
Thanks.

No. Yes. Kind of... The From field must contain a valid email. No way around that. But, if you configure the email message and remove the [_form_results_], then you can style the message any way you like by using the [field] tags.

Thanks.. but I want to leave the e-mail address in the from field, that's fine... but I want the name of the submitter to show up when the e-mail arrives instead of a raw email address... I know it's possible to configure with php forms... maybe an added feature in the future?
Ah, sorry, misunderstood there. Not sure how, but hang in there and maybe someone else will pop in ...

Can't you ask them their name on the form?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

You might find it just as useful, and easier to do, to setup the Subject line rather than the email address. This way you can set it up something like the following, using the drop down menu at the bottom to fill in the correct fields:
You've just received a form email from [first-name] [last_name]
You've just received a form email from [first-name] [last_name]
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
