Hi,

I have a weird problem with a form I published using the form builder:

The 'Redirect to custom HTML page' option is selected under Confirm Options, and in the html there is a link to the site homepage.

Everything functions as expected, however when a submission has been successful and the user clicks the link to the home page, the URL bar doesn't change - it stays at the form URL and it sticks there even when browsing the site further.

This behaviour doesn't occur when clicking through to the site using the logo or contact link displayed on the form itself.

Any ideas about this?

There's one other thing: when using IE10 and submitting a form that is longer than the browser window height, the page appears blank - you have to notice the scroll bar to see that you can scroll up to find the confirmation message. Does anyone have a suggestion about this?

This is my test version of the form, and it displays the two issues mentioned:

Sorry, yes, that would be correct. Because the form is inside of an <iframe> the custom page is going to display in there as well. If you want to redirect to a a new page, then use the Redirect to another URL instead.

Thanks! I just tried adding target="_blank" to the link code and that's a possible way out too.

Any ideas about the IE issue?

I see the scrollbar here in IE10 very clearly. Looks just like using Chrome, Firefox or any other browser.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. What I mean is when you complete the form all you see is a blank page, you have to be kind of observant to notice that you can scroll up and I'm not sure all users would do so.

It doesn't happen on Chrome but does with FF & IE. I suppose this is to do with the iframe as well, is that right? What do you advise to be the best way to display these forms?

If you switch to the Redirect to a URL, that issue will be fixed. The problem here is by using a custom HTML page, you would have to make tweaks to the HTML markup if you want to change how the form results display there.
